Easy Gardener Inc and Sun Sails
We love the Easy Gardener Company and there is now doubt that we love Easy Gardener Sun Sails or Easy Gardener Shade Sails so we wanted to know more about the company. Sail Awning first went to our garden and started looking at how many Easy Gardener products we actually had outside of just the sail awnings.
Sail Awning was surprised to realize how many Easy Gardener products we did have including WeedBlock fabrics which we put under everything, Jobe’s fertilizer spikes that we use on our citrus trees, products for tree care, plastic fencing and landscape edging.
The Easy Gardener Company was founded in 1983 and based on the “limitations (of the) busy 80’s lifestyles placed on gardeners.” The company wanted people to achieve the same great gardens without spending the time or help “lawn and garden consumers achieve positive results with minimal effort.” I guess we we’re all busy crimping our hair and rolling up our jacket sleeves!
While the company still wishes their customers achieve the great gardens with limited effort but they have moved into a more sustainable fabrics or eco-friendly fertilizers. The Easy Gardener company ships their over 200 products to the US, Great Brittan and Canada.
Now about the Easy Gardner Sun Sails or Easy Gardener Sail Awnings as we like to call them, are as the company describes them, themselves as “quick do-it-yourself installation” and we agree. These sails are made to create and instantly cooled environment and a great place for you and your pets to get relief from the hot summer sun.
The Easy Gardener Sun Sails are made of high quality sun screen fabric and allows the hot heated air to naturally rise through the fabric, leaving the cool air below. I’m not sure how many people know how hot it gets under a plastic tarp in the sun but it’s not nice and this material is designed to avid that heat. These sun sails also allow water to seep through the fabric so there are now pools of water weighing the tarp down and causing undue stress on the hooks.
Another nice feature of the fabric is that if you like shaded plants outside your door you can put up one of these sun sails and they will be blocked most of the sun and still get the rain underneath. To check out our selection of Easy Gardener Sun Sails just follow the link!
